Precious Cargo One Piece Garment Recall
On August 6, Precious Cargo recalled infant one-piece garments due to a choking hazard. The snaps on the one-piece garments can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. This poses a very dangerous situation and could put many children at risk of choking and even death.
Precious Cargo has recalled about 479,000 garments. The one-piece garments have a three-snap bottom closure. The items are 100 percent cotton and were sold in size 6M, 12M and 18M in the following colors: athletic heather, aquatic blue, candy pink, clover green, jet black, lime, navy, purple, red, royal, sangria, white and yellow. “Precious Cargo” and an elephant are printed on a blue tag sewn into the neck area. The one-piece garments were sold as promotional products with a corporate or community organization logo on the front. They were sold at promotional product distributors, screen printers, embroiderers and gift shops from July 2014 through July 2015 for about $4.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled garments and contact Precious Cargo to return them for a full refund. You may contact Precious Cargo at (888) 770-7018. The recall is being handled in coordination with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
