Divvy Bike Docks Cause for Concern
Dotted around the city of Chicago you see them. They are large grey structures with blue bicycles attached to them. They are called Divvy bikes and, according to the manufacturer there are 400 stations holding about 4,000 bikes that can be rented and shared. Chicago is not the only city with them. They can be found in Washington DC, Arlington, Virginia and a similar version in New York.
The bikes are a great thing but some are questioning the design of the grey docks. In New York, three pedestrians have filed suit claiming they tripped on the docks because they were the same color as the surrounding area and are difficult to see.
