The Childrens Place Boys Jacket Recall
On August 6, The Children’s Place recalled boys’ varsity jackets due to a choking hazard.
The Children’s Place has recalled about 13,700 jackets that were sold in the U.S. The jackets are made of knitted fleece material and range in size from 6 months to 5T. They are royal blue with gray sleeves and have a baseball character with a red hat on the left chest area. The metal snaps on the jackets could detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. This poses a very dangerous situation and could put many children at risk of choking and even death.
Consumers should immediately take the recalled jackets away from children and return them to any The Children’s Place store for a full refund. You may contact The Children’s Place at (877) 752-2387. The recall is being handled in coordination with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
