Bouncy House Fiasco
The Police department in Littleton, Colorado received an interesting call. At a local lacrosse game an inflatable bouncy house started to blow away in the wind and caused a small girl to be hurled 8 feet into the air and seriously injured another small boy who was trapped inside the plastic prison. Believe it or not this is actually the second report of a bouncy house floating away in the wind in the past month. The company that owns and manufactures these bouncy houses refused to comment on the impending threats of their products. While this news story may make the most empathetic of us cover our snickering faces it’s a good reminder that the threat of injury is a viable reality in every situation.
