Scholarships Awarded for Local Artists
Dixon Law Office recently extended its support to the local community by awarding scholarships to nine talented students from Lyons Township High School. These scholarships were awarded during the Spring Art Show, a significant event that showcased the artistic achievements of students across various mediums.
The Spring Art Show, held at Lyons Township High School, served as a platform for students to display their creativity and skill in areas such as pottery, metalworking, and photography. G. Grant Dixon III, founder of Dixon Law Office, alongside Office Manager Susan Dixon, presented the scholarships to deserving recipients.
Grant remarked, “This event not only highlights the remarkable talents of our local students but also underscores the importance of the arts within our community.” Grant continued, “We are pleased to support young artists and recognize the value of art within our community,”
The Spring Art Show also featured a special section dedicated to high school seniors, showcasing their artistic growth and accomplishments throughout their time in the program. One of those seniors is a Dixon Law Office employee who works in records management. “We really loved seeing her artwork. She has been an important person in the many transitions our firm has undergone in the last year. We know she is incredibly talented but to see her work showcased was a special honor,” Grant said.
Grant Dixon emphasized the significance of encouraging artistic development in young people. “By investing in the future of our community’s artists, we are enriching the cultural landscape of LaGrange and fostering a sense of pride and accomplishment among our youth.“
