Seattle Bike Supply of Kent, Washington announced it was recalling all of its Redline D640 Bicycles.  The company has received reports of the headtube (the vertical tube where the handlebars enter the frame) separating from the frame during use, causing injuries.  The bike has “REDLINE” written down the frame’s tube.  The high-end bicycles were sold at specialty bicycle shops nationwide from December 2007 to May 2010.  If you own one of these bikes, return it to the place of purchase for a free replacement.  For additional information, contact Redline Bicycles at (800) 283-2453 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. PT Monday through Friday or visit the firm’s website at www.Redlinebicycles.com
